Description
A creamy, tangy, and perfectly seasoned fry sauce recipe that recreates the classic American diner experience at home.
Ingredients
1/2 cup high-quality mayonnaise
1/4 cup tomato ketchup
1 tsp dill pickle juice
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp smoked paprika
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of black pepper
Instructions
Step 1: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and ketchup.
Step 2: Add the dill pickle juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika to the bowl.
Step 3: Whisk the mixture thoroughly until the sauce is smooth and the color is a consistent light pink.
Step 4: Taste the sauce and add a pinch of salt and black pepper if desired.
Step 5: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to develop before serving with your favorite fries.
Notes
For the best results, use real mayonnaise rather than salad dressing. The pickle juice can be substituted with white vinegar or apple cider vinegar if needed.
