Description

This festive and fun Grinch punch recipe for kids is a vibrant, non-alcoholic drink perfect for holiday parties. Made with lime sherbet, lemon-lime soda, and fruit juices, it’s a sweet, bubbly, and frothy delight that's sure to make everyone's heart grow three sizes this Christmas season!

Ingredients

Scale

2 liters lemon-lime soda, chilled
6 cups white grape juice, chilled
4 cups pineapple juice, chilled
1.5 quarts lime sherbet
Fresh lime slices, for garnish
Fresh raspberries or maraschino cherries, for garnish
Green gummy candies or green sugar sprinkles, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine the chilled white grape juice, lemon-lime soda, and pineapple juice. Stir gently to combine the liquids, being careful not to lose too much of the soda's fizz.
Step 2: Just before serving, add scoops of lime sherbet directly into the punch. The sherbet will begin to fizz and create a wonderful frothy layer on top. For a visual treat, place individual scoops directly into glasses and pour the mixed juice over them.
Step 3: Garnish the punch with sliced lime rounds, fresh raspberries (to represent the Grinch’s heart!), and green gummy candies or green sugar sprinkles around the rim of individual glasses. You can also add a few drops of green food coloring to the punch if you desire an even more intense green color, but often the sherbet and lime flavor are enough.
Step 4: Serve immediately in festive glasses.

Notes

For best results, ensure all liquid ingredients are well chilled before combining. Add the lime sherbet just before serving to maximize the frothy effect. Adjust the amount of sherbet to your preferred level of creaminess.
