Description

A vibrant, refreshing, and festive non-alcoholic holiday punch made with cranberry juice, fresh citrus, and a hint of warm spices, topped with sparkling ginger ale or cider. Perfect for all ages!


Ingredients

6 cups (1.5 Liters) cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
2 cups (500ml) freshly squeezed orange juice, chilled
1/2 cup (120ml) freshly squeezed lime juice, chilled
2 cinnamon sticks
6-8 whole cloves
Strips of zest from 1 orange (use a vegetable peeler)
4 cups (1 Liter) ginger ale or sparkling cider, chilled
Fresh cranberries, for garnish
Orange slices, for garnish
Lime slices, for garnish
Ice, for serving


Instructions

Step 1: In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine the cranberry juice cocktail, freshly squeezed orange juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Stir well to integrate the flavors.
Step 2: Add the cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and orange zest. Let this mixture chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight, allowing the spices to infuse deeply.
Step 3: Just before serving, remove the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and orange zest from the juice mixture.
Step 4: Pour the chilled ginger ale or sparkling cider into the punch bowl with the infused juice mixture. Stir gently to combine, being careful not to lose too much carbonation.
Step 5: Add plenty of ice to the punch bowl. For an extra festive touch, consider making ice rings with cranberries and orange slices frozen inside.
Step 6: Garnish the punch with fresh cranberries and thin slices of oranges and limes. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, prepare the juice and spice base the day before and chill thoroughly. Add the sparkling beverage and ice just before serving to maximize fizz and freshness. You can adjust the sweetness by adding a touch of simple syrup or honey if desired.
