Description

A vibrant and fun Jello shot recipe perfect for any adult party or gathering. Easy to make with just a few ingredients, these wobbly treats are customizable and always a hit!

Ingredients

Scale

Two 3-ounce packages of flavored gelatin (any color/flavor, e.g., cherry, lime, orange)
1 cup boiling water
1 cup cold water
1 cup cold vodka (or other clear spirit like white rum)

Instructions

Step 1: In a large heat-safe mixing bowl, combine the two packages of flavored gelatin with 1 cup of boiling water. Ensure the water is truly at a rolling boil for optimal dissolving.
Step 2: Whisk the mixture vigorously for 2-3 minutes, or until the gelatin powder is completely dissolved. There should be no granules remaining.
Step 3: Add 1 cup of cold water and 1 cup of cold vodka (or your chosen cold alcohol) to the dissolved gelatin mixture. Stir gently until all liquids are well combined.
Step 4: Carefully pour the Jello shot recipe mixture into 2-ounce plastic shot cups, filling each almost to the top. A measuring cup with a spout or a funnel can aid in a cleaner pour.
Step 5: Arrange the filled cups on a baking sheet or tray and transfer them to the refrigerator. Chill for at least 4 hours, but preferably 6 hours or overnight, until the Jello shots are completely set and firm.
Step 6: Once fully set, serve your Jello shots chilled. To remove easily, gently squeeze the cup or run a thin knife around the edge. Enjoy responsibly!

Notes

For best results, ensure your alcohol and cold water are well chilled before adding them to the gelatin mixture. This helps the Jello set more firmly. Experiment with different Jello and alcohol combinations!
